How to Use Ethnography : Industry Trendspotting
The Trendspotting ETA is the best way to study a particular industry or segment of the population to find out what's hot right now. Context anthropologists conduct a combination of observation and interviewing around the subject in question, with an eye on what's new and what the leading - edge consumers in the category are doing.

The end result of these studies is a collection of photos and salient quotes from the population studied, and a list of trends to watch for and insight into what's next for the group under study.
